An ASD is a mechanism designed to automatically open and close the original standard side sliding door on a number of different commercial vehicles.

The system comprises a chain driven gear assembly and actuator which has been tested over hundreds of thousands of cycles. The system which is virtually silent operates electrically via either remote control or via a button on the dash.
Kits are available for most passenger carrying vehicles.
