Soudabond 690 DG is a flexible adhesive with high end strength, good sag resistance, and high initial tack. It does not require a primer and offers good weather and UV resistance. The adhesive does not shrink, ensuring long-lasting performance
- Applications: It is primarily used for the installation of windscreens in vehicles. The adhesive can be applied in a triangular bead on the window or the vehicle, ensuring a secure and durable bond
- Packaging: Soudabond 690 DG is available in 600 ml foil bags and 290 ml cartridges. The product has a shelf life of at least 12 months when stored in its original, unopened packaging at a cool and dry place between +5°C and +25°C
- Chemical Resistance: The adhesive offers good resistance to (salt)water, aliphatic solvents, hydrocarbons, ketones, esters, alcohols, and diluted mineral acids and alkalis. However, it has poor resistance to aromatic solvents, concentrated acids, and chlorinated hydrocarbons
- Surface Preparation: The surfaces to be bonded should be clean, free of dust, grease, oil, and rust. It is recommended to degrease the surfaces before bonding and to carry out a preliminary adhesion test on every surface
