Interior Lights

Stedall supplies a range of LED interior lights for commercial vehicles and vans, available in both 12V and 24V to suit different vehicle electrical systems. The range covers surface-mount lights for general load-area and cab illumination, strip lights for consistent linear lighting, and night lights that combine white and blue LEDs.

Interior lights sit within Stedall’s wider lighting range, alongside exterior lights, step lights and marker lights. For strip lighting specifically, Stedall holds a dedicated strip lights range.

Yes. The LED interior lights are available in both 12V and 24V configurations, so the same product family can be specified for vans running a 12V system and for larger commercial vehicles running 24V. Selecting the correct voltage for the vehicle is important, so check the part voltage before ordering.

Yes. The interior lights range includes PIR (passive infrared) motion-sensor variants, available in both 12V and 24V. A PIR light switches on automatically when movement is detected and switches off after a period of inactivity, which is useful in load areas and storage compartments where switching a light on and off by hand is awkward or easily forgotten.

Both provide interior illumination, but they suit different mounting situations. A surface-mount interior light is a self-contained unit, typically rectangular, fixed to a flat surface such as a roof panel or bulkhead to light a defined area. Stedall’s surface-mount LED lights use a moulded body and are specified by their lux reading at one metre and colour temperature.

A strip light provides linear illumination along its length and is suited to lighting a longer run, such as the length of a load area. Stedall’s strip lights include flexible, self-adhesive LED strip that can be cut to length, and certain strip products can be used to create illuminated step edging for safer access. A night light combines white LEDs for general illumination with blue LEDs intended for use at night. Stedall’s night light uses 60 white LEDs together with 30 blue LEDs, allowing the vehicle interior to be lit either with bright white light or with low-level blue light. The blue setting provides enough light to see by while being less disruptive in low-light conditions.
