Technical
- General Safety: It is recommended to follow the manufacturer’s safety instructions and ensure compatibility of the solvent and substrate. Ideal bonding substrates should be clean, dry, flat, smooth, dust-free, and non-porous
- Application: Apply the tape by hand directly from a roll, applying even pressure. Low temperatures may increase the risk of condensation, reducing the tack of the product
- Solventless Toffee tape, pressure-sensitive rubber resin hot melt adhesive, extruded into tape to form a roll, with paper backing .
- Applications:
- Joining plastic sheeting, filters, damp proof membranes, woven polypropylene matting, correx sheeting, and vapour barriers
- Bonding lightweight insulation panels, kickplates, and mounting lightweight trim
- Used as a temporary ‘Third Hand’ fix
- Bonding insulation to walls, fixing signs and displays, roof bars on commercial vehicles, and side panels to caravans and mobile homes
- Product Benefits:
- Clean and easy to use alternative to brush-on adhesives
- Very aggressive pressure-sensitive adhesive
- Non-hardening and permanently flexible
