Marker Lights

Stedall supplies a range of LED marker lights, marker lamps and side markers for commercial vehicles, vans and trailers, and suitable for HGV applications. The range is available in amber, white and red to suit different positions on the vehicle.

The marker lights range includes fully sealed LED marker lamps that run on 12/24 volt, with a 7mm projection when fixed. Marker lights sit within Stedall’s wider lighting range, alongside exterior lights, interior lights and step lights.

Marker light colour depends on where the lamp sits on the vehicle. Under the Road Vehicles Lighting Regulations 1989, a side marker lamp must show amber light, or red where it is within 1 metre of the rear of the vehicle. White marker lamps are typically used at the front.

Yes. The range is designed for commercial vehicles, vans and trailers, and is suitable for HGV applications. Side marker lamps and reflectors become a legal requirement on certain vehicles and vehicle combinations once they exceed defined lengths under the Road Vehicles Lighting Regulations 1989.

Fixing depends on the lamp. On the polycarbonate/ABS marker lamps, the base is fixed to the vehicle by two screws, and the lamp then slots into the base, covering the fixing screws for a clean finish. Pendant brackets are available on selected units for applications where the lamp is mounted on a bracket rather than a flat surface.
